MResult’s Business Objects Auditor delivers comprehensive Activity and Security reports to help you with regulatory compliance management, IT Compliance, business intelligence user adoption and audit and security processes.

While Business Objects’ built-in auditor collects data on User and System Activities, Security information is only available through custom development and the Business Objects’ SDK. MResult’s Auditor provides an easy to implement alternative that brings all audit information together in a 360° view of how your reports are really being used.

Over 30 customizable reports available in both WebIntelligence and Crystal Reports may be used as-is or as a starting point to explore the rich information available.

How it Works

1. For improved query performance, activity information is brought into a Staging area and transformed so that all information (master & detail) is stored in one consolidated Activity table.
2. Business Objects SDK calls retrieve Security information on groups, folders, categories, reports, universes, universe connections and Business Objects applications from the Business Objects repository. This represents a comprehensive snapshot rendition of the BO repository at the time the SDK calls were executed.
3. Security information is stored in staging tables, then transformed and loaded into our Audit Data Mart.
